Graduating year - 2004

Kristin Barker (’04): I am currently working at Coastal Training Technologies as an Account Manager in Virginia Beach. I am involved in my church, Virginia Beach Christian Life Center, where I am a cell group leader, work on the production team and serve in other areas.

Steve Hamrick ('04): I was in a car accident shortly after Spring 2004 graduation and it set me back a few months. I am fully recovered now, praise God, and I am currently working on turning my dissertation into a book and journal articles. I also have written an historical fiction novel I'm attempting to publish and I am starting work on another novel.

Nevan Hooker (’04) is an Associate News Producer at WLKY-CBS Louisville, KY (16th largest city in the country). If there's any students looking for help, advice, or a job and is considering taking the television route, I would love to be of assistance...as I had to learn the hard way in looking for work and knowing what to expect. there are quite a few film people who switch to tv news to have a steady job...so I think it's a good option.

Jeff Lycan (’04): I graduated from Regent last August. I am currently on active duty in the Army and assigned to the US Embassy in South Korea. I'm fortunate to be in Korea where I have an opportunity to teach a public speaking class for Central Texas College. Most of my students are also active duty soldiers and Korean foreign nationals. Ironically, I was offered this teaching position the very day Regent notified me that I had been cleared for graduation. It didn't take long for me to put my Regent education to use.

Renelle Richardson ('04): I graduated in May of '04 with an M.A. in Broadcast Journalism. Two months after graduation, I was hired as a producer/reporter for the 700 Club. My dream job!

Renee Stewart (’04): Currently, I'm a project manager for Corporate Communications at Westinghouse Savannah River Company, where I have been employed for nearly 15 years. For the past two years, my role has expanded to the parent company, Washington Group International, as publications project manager in support of the 2003 and 2004 Washington Group International World Wide Leadership Conferences. In 2002 and 2004, I was listed in International Who's Who and recently accepted a position as Administrative Pastor at Fountain of Life Fellowship in Aiken, S.C.

A. Ray Yount (’04): I am teaching Basic Professional Writing, online, for Regent University's Undergrad School. I have just enrolled as a Ph.D. student with Regent's School of Communication.
