Graduating year - 2003

Michelle Armstrong, (‘03, D.C. Campus): I am currently teaching at Palomar Community College and Vanguard University - I am teaching Public Relations, Speech and Interpersonal Communications. I am also looking to join a PR agency in Orange County by the New Year. I am currently living in the San Diego area. Aside from that, I am heavily involved with our church youth group as well as with the Missionette program.

Judy Baker (’03): I'm actually back at Regent slowly but surely working on my second masters - in Script & Screenwriting this time. BUT, I continue to do what I've been doing for years - I'm a public relations and marketing consultant with a wide variety of clients. Since graduating I have also become an adjunct in the Communications & Journalism Department at Norfolk State University and in the Department of Communications & Journalism at Virginia Wesleyan College.

Susie Battle (’03): I’m still working at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. I’m teaching part time and work as the full time Department Secretary for Communication & the Arts. My other two jobs are Theatre Manager for student productions and Part Time Faculty Coordinator. I’m also a happy grandmother of five!

Jeremy Casper (’03): From 2001-2004, Jeremy Casper worked as a producer/director /editor at the Saint Louis based production company VISIONTRACKS, INC, where he oversaw every phase of production of dozens of promotional videos and local television commercials. Through Visiontracks, Casper directed and edited the Telly Award winning documentary, Vintage Missouri for the Missouri Department of Agriculture. 2004 has seen the completion of several exciting freelance projects including a 5-week trip to southern Africa with Los Angeles based production company THE CHRONICLE PROJECT to document the efforts of several HIV/AIDS awareness programs. Casper recently completed producer/director/editor work on a science/education video currently being shopped around to several major production companies in Los Angeles. Casper currently resides in Saint Louis, Missouri but will be relocating to the greater Los Angeles area at the beginning of the year to continue work with THE CHRONICLE PROJECT.

Glenn Corillo (Class of 1980 & 2003) and his company, Current Communications, Inc., of Virginia Beach won a 2004 Telly Award for the video production of Blackbeard the Pirate. The video was produced for Haunts and Histories of Virginia Beach, a company that provides "Ghost Walks" along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk during the summer months. The video is for sale at several oceanfront locations. Glenn Corillo produced, wrote, directed and served as talent for the production. Al Chewning of Histories and Haunts, Inc. provided research material and Jack Skinner was the videographer.

Shannon Dunlap (’03): I have been teaching in Africa for almost a year, but will be returning home at Christmas time.

John Hodges (’03): Greetings from Philadelphia! I hope you are all doing well. Our family has been so blessed since moving here last year. I'm now working as the Operations Manager for Student Activities at Temple University where I am also teaching as an Adjunct in Computer Science and working towards my Ph.D. Heather is doing very well and keeps busy with the boys, Joseph (almost 3 now) and David (seven months). She even helps me grade exams occasionally. =) I've put a movie online for you guys to enjoy. We shot it yesterday, so we hope you like it. It's called Fairmount Park. Check it out: http://www.ifcentral.com/video/fairmount

Heidi Mehltretter (’03): I'm working in Columbia, SC, both in my commercial production company and as an adjunct faculty for Media Arts at the University of South Carolina. My husband, David, is still running ACS Sound and Lighting. Sarah, our eight year old (adopted at 3 from China), is now in 2nd grade at Montessori Elementary. She loves school, art and friends, and continues to be our lives' greatest joy. As a family, we also do a lot of work with TEARS, a ministry located in a Dominican Republic ghetto. This work takes us to Haiti and the DR quite often. Between home jobs and TEARS, we focus on international exploration, where we enjoy taking photos and video for whomever we find doing humanitarian work in remote or difficult places. This is a passion I hope will become full time work in the future.

John Strong ('03): I am Senior Editor/Producer at Grace Products in Richardson, TX.

Ty Trapps ('03): I am working in Palm Beach, Florida for an education/business/legal publishing company, called LRP Publications. I am the editor of two newsletters, Pro Principal and Inside Private School Management. I've also been very active in my church youth group (recreational leader) at the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches.

Amber Wood (’03) is working for Regent University Library as Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Ass't.
