Shannon (Eckman)
Christman ('98): My husband, Mark, and
I just had a baby boy on November 19.
His name is Alexander James Christman,
and he's our first child. I am staying
home as a full-time mom, but I'm also
doing a little freelance copy editing
and writing, mainly for American
Missionary Fellowship.
John
David Kudrick (‘98) and Sheila (Dorn)
Kudrick (‘99): 1. We had our third
child on June 9: Elizabeth Dorn Kudrick,
who joins his brother Jed and sister
Maggie. 2. We moved into our first
house in late June in Level Green, PA.
3. Also in late June, John started a
new job as senior editor with Infinity
Concepts, a full-service consulting and
marketing firm specializing in helping
ministries and non-profits. 4. In
addition to being a busy stay-at-home
mom, Sheila is involved in a community
Bible study and also volunteers at our
church, Cornerstone Ministries. 5. John
is also nearly finished writing his
first novel and will start pursuing its
publication in early 2005.
Joleen
Miller (’98): I am the chair of the
fine arts department here at Nansemond
River High School, and I am Chair of
Music Programs for the Suffolk Public
Schools. I teach 3 levels of choral
music, music appreciation, and drama.
Cynthia (Murray) Smith ('98): My big
news is that God blessed my husband,
Mark, and me with a sweet baby boy,
Samuel Josiah Smith, on August 20,
2004. We are doing fine, loving
parenthood and rediscovering the world
through Sammy's eyes. We learn
something new every day and are
delighted with our precious gift from
God. We savor each moment and remain
amazed.
