S. Ruriani (’94): Right now I am one of
four computer technicians at a local
private (K - 12) school in Louisville,
KY. I help keep the machines and the
network infrastructure working. Next
school year our high school will be
implement a one to one laptop program
where all high school students will be
required to purchase a laptop. I will
become the laptop coordinator. Needless
to say this is a big undertaking for me
and our school. Regent University
prepared me for this endeavor by
offering computer classes! Regent was
at the forefront in adopting new
technology which helped me further my
career. In addition, with my journalism
education I was able to compose the
documentation for the laptop plan. Also
with the classes Regent University
offered in photography, computers, and
graphic design has allowed me to pass
on my knowledge to future generations.
The Lord has blessed me tremendously. I
love my job! I could not have
envisioned a nicer place to work than
here.
