Rodney
Moore (’91): Rodney's book,
Design Secrets: Layout provides a
behind the scenes look at the creative
process of graphic artists on 50
different design projects for brands
like MINI USA, Jaguar, Herman Miller
and Song. This is his first book, but
he has worked as a freelance journalist
for more than 10 years writing for
national publications. |
|
|
Johnston Moore (’91): Johnston's
article, "Fostering Families," was
published in Today magazine.
It is about the Indian Child Welfare
Act, a well-intentioned but often
misused law which was aimed at
protecting the best interests of Native
American children in the United States
foster system. The Act is all too often
misapplied, resulting in delayed and/or
disrupted adoptions and foster
placements. |

Mark MacGregor (’91): I am a partner in
a small Christian television network "FaithTV".
We launched back in June 2002. We are
kind of a Christian History, Discovery,
Movie channel. We're on Sky Angel and
available part time in about 12 million
other homes nationwide. I helped start
the Worship Network back several years
ago, so this is actually my second
start up network. I have been married
for almost 7 years now and have 2 boys,
Hunter is 5 years old and Shane is 2.
We had a daughter, Shannon O'Hara, who
was stillborn 3 years ago. My
son Shane
is a living miracle. He was born with
an incurable lymph disease called
Congenital Pulmonary Lymphangectasia.
It killed my daughter. When Shane was
born they said "these babies don't live
and if they do there is nothing left
worth keeping alive." Until he was 9
months old they told us he would die
even though most of that time he seemed
just fine to us and was growing and
doing what other babies do. Then one
day at nine months, they declared him
normal. They couldn't explain how he
was alive, but he went from surely dead
to normal. God worked a miracle. Aside
from the occasional asthma attack, he
is perfectly healthy. |
