Graduating year - 1990

Christy Bailey (’90): At present, I am working in broadcast operations at a local PBS station (WISE-TV/WYCC) in Chicago. On the side, I am a freelance writer and copy editor for a Christian publisher (Urban Ministries, Inc.). They publish Christian education materials (e.g. Sunday School and VBS literature) which are used in churches nationwide. A while back, I had a two-book series published, entitled: Can You See God? It's an inspirational fiction series for middle-graders.

Jim Barr (’90): The software company I work for (here in Norfolk - BibleWorks) has the premier software tool for original language exegesis of the Biblical text (Greek and Hebrew) so we are well known around the world among seminary students, professors, biblical scholars, missionaries and pastors. I recently represented the company at the annual convention of the Evangelical Theological Society (about 2,000 attendees) and the annual meeting of the Society for Biblical Literature (about 8,000). Both were held in San Antonio. I am the marketing director, so I interface with faculty, students, bookstores, librarians, denominational leaders, etc.

Jeff Bass (’90): I taught television production and other Media Arts classes at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY during the 2003-2004 academic year. I plan to teach there again for 2005-2006, but I am currently spending a year teaching in China. I taught here during spring semester of 2003 and met a woman. We became engaged while I was in New York, and I returned here as a foreign teacher to marry her and spend a year with her in China before returning to the US next summer. We were married on October 22.

Curtis Brunk (’90): I am Sr. Pastor of Lake Sammamish Foursquare Church in Redmond Washington (Seattle metroplex).

Jodie Nelson Chiricosta (’90): I got married this past July 24th to Ron Chiricosta. I am still working at Operation Blessing.

Chris Frederick ('90): is currently in his 3rd season as Producer of the NYC TV Talk Show "God Squad" and Executive Producer of "Exploring Critical Issues." He also produced and directed two original comedy show pilots- "KNOW News" starring Emmy Award Winning comedian Bob Nelson; and "Your Shopping Channel" starring Susan Isaacs, Jeannie Noth Gaffigan, Bob Nelson and Corey Getzel.

Harry Hanson (’90): has been the manager of Remittance Processing at CBN since Oct 01.

Marsha Little Heidelberg Matthews (’90): I am teaching mass communication classes at East Central University in Ada, OK. I'm in my 8th year here. I teach media ethics & law, writing for media, audio production, field & studio TV production, and public relations. I also direct one main stage play each year (at least I did until I began my doctoral program 2 years ago). I'm entering my last semester of course work at The University of Oklahoma where I am working toward a doctorate in educational studies. If all goes as planned, I'll be ABD in May 2005 and hope to complete my dissertation by December 2005. My area of interest is loss and creativity. I work with Donna Gough, MA Communication 1987, here at ECU. She completed her doctorate in communication at The University of Oklahoma.

Cynthia Mullaney (’90): Employed by USAA since 2002 - great company, great benefits. Seeking CPCU - just starting. Activities: The Man Called Jesus - last 8 yrs, two mission trips to Scotland, Member of New Life Christian Fellowship

Victor Winston (’90): I work full-time as an TV operator at Ch. 3 TV in Palm Desert, CA, running ABC, Fox, and Telemundo (Spanish) stations. I have acted on stage in Joshua Tree, CA recently. Also videotape projects from time to time. I'm now writing a drama about a horticulturist.
