Like Mother Like Daughter: The
Effects of Growing Up in a Homosexual
Home. The book narrates the story
of Jackii Edwards who knows full well
the effects of growing up in a
homosexual home. She tells how only the
Lord could help her overcome her
physical and emotional scars and how
today she ministers through Exodus

Cynthia Ellenwood (‘86): I
have been editor and personal assistant to
Bishop Wellington Boone since 1989. I first
met him when I was co-authoring a book by
Bob Slosser, former president of Regent
University, entitled Changing the Way
America Thinks (Word Books). Since I joined
the ministry, Bishop Boone has authored
several best-selling books that were
acclaimed by Publisher’s Weekly, including
Your Wife Is Not Your Momma and Low Road to
New Heights (both published by Doubleday).
We also started our own publishing company
called ProVision in 1997. Bishop Boone is
the founder and chief overseer of the
Fellowship of International Churches. The
ministry headquarters relocated to Atlanta
in 1995, where he pastors a church called
The Father’s House. Bishop Boone is now a
member of the Board of Trustees of Regent
University, so we have come full circle. I
am part of a movement with righteous
leaders who are becoming increasing
involved in national leadership not only in
the church but also in the marketplace and
civil government, in the name of Jesus
Christ. Our theme is “Total Domination.”
