Elinor is the first voice prospective students reach when they have questions regarding the application process. As a graduate admissions counselor, she takes great joy in her task to guide students in their calling and to see the completed application through all the necessary steps to admission.
She has served in this role since 1980, and her reputation for excellence has led to the establishment of an endowed scholarship and a student film award in her name. The Malendoski Award is presented for the most redemptive film at the annual OTIS film festival.
Prior to Regent, Elinor served as a teacher in South Carolina. Her husband, Bill, is retired from CBN and they reside here in Virginia Beach, Va. They are thankful for all of their family—including three adult sons, four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
