Alycia LaFavor is a first year Ph.D. student from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Communication Studies and a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication both from Florida State University. Her specialties are in communication marketing and broadcasting.
After graduating, Alycia worked in sales and marketing for the Coca Cola Company but has now joined the Regent University family as a Doctoral Fellow. As a Doctoral fellow, Alycia works alongside Dean Mitch Land assisting with various marketing and communications projects. In addition, she also teaches Public Speaking as an Adjunct Professor at Tidewater Community College.
Alycia’s interest areas in communication are rhetoric and communication apprehension. Upon completion of her doctoral program, she wants to teach the next generation of communication scholars in the areas of public speaking and interpersonal communication.
