The MFA is an advanced and terminal degree requiring 60 credit hours to complete.  It is designed to stretch the student as a Christian and a filmmaker. Students will complete intensive work in production, screen writing and critical studies. As a culminating experience directing students may do a "thesis" film. Producing students may choose either a "thesis" film or prospectus.

Note from the Chair:

"Each of our programs is designed to support the mission of Regent University, Christian Leaders to Change the World. We are interested in continually stretching the envelope of creativity and storytelling. We equip our students, spiritually and technically, so they can be effective directors, producers, editors and critical thinkers. All of this co-exists with our main purpose which is to glorify God."
