- The School of Business hosts the Consultation for Holistic Entrepreneurs at The Founders Inn, gathering 200 individuals from around the world with a passion for combining missions with business.
2001
- The Center for Leadership Studies launches Doctor of Strategic Leadership program.
- The School of Business enters into a “sister school” agreement with Henan University located in Kaifeng, China, with the purpose of providing enhanced educational opportunities to both Chinese and American students.
- The SIFE Team enters their first competition, winning First Regional Champion in their league at the Regional SIFE Competition in Raleigh, N.C. The SIFE Team also wins the Rookie of the Year Award for their league.
- Regent SIFE competes against 160 other regional winners for national title and wins the National Rookie of the Year Award for their league at the National SIFE Competition on May 15, 2001.
2000
- The Regent University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team was founded as the first all-graduate SIFE team in the world.
- Dr. Bruce Winston is appointed associate dean of Center for Leadership Studies.
- The Center for Leadership Studies launches Journal of Organizational Leadership and Leadership Advance Online.
- Dean Reid-Martinez is appointed dean of the Robertson School of Government and the Center for Leadership Studies.

- Leadership training programs begin in South Africa.

- The School of Business awards its Servant Leadership Award to J. Gunnar Olson, founder and chairman of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC).
- The Center for Leadership Studies commissions first graduate, Debbie McCormick (M.A. in Organizational Leadership).
- Dr. Kathaleen Reid-Martinez is appointed dean of the Center for Leadership Studies.

- The School of Business awards its Servant Leadership Award to:

- The School of Business awards its first Servant Leadership Award to S. Truett Cathy, president and founder of Chick-Fil-A. The Servant Leadership Award recognizes business and industry leaders who demonstrate a commitment to the principles of servant leadership exemplified by Jesus Christ.
- Dr. Ken North appointed as director of the Center for Leadership Studies.
- The Center for Leadership Studies launches the first online Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership program in the world.

- The Center for Leadership Studies is founded.

- School of Business students place first and second among colleges in Virginia in the Securities Industry Association Stock Market Game.

- The School of Business hosts the national Christian Business Faculty Association (CBFA) conference.

- Dr. John E. Mulford is appointed dean of the School of Business.
- The School of Business launches the Master of Arts in Management.
1989
- The School of Business is the first Regent school to expand into the new frontier of distance education with an MBA degree offered through videotapes, audiotapes and study guides.
- Dr. Wayne W. Adams is appointed dean of the School of Business.
