MBA Guidelines

The materials provided below have been developed to help students navigate through the MBA program by providing guidance on course administration, dialogue forums and writing. Students should consider saving (most often via a right-click) personal copies of their course and program files for future reference. Recognize that all such documents are subject to significant change for a variety of reasons.

Typically no notice will be made when changes occur to these materials. SBL wishes to reduce the number of messages that some students might consider distracting and unnecessary to the completion of their studies. For this reason you should check back periodically for updates that could affect you. A helpful "rule of thumb" is to inspect the "last revised" date at the top of course documents and the publication date of program documents. However, this is only a rule of thumb and cannot substitute for meeting actual expectations.

Note to on-campus students: On-campus students will meet for there hours each week. Part of that face-to-face meeting time will be used to discuss one of the discussion forums for each period. The other discussion forum will take place online. The syllabus will indicate which discussion forums will take place on-campus. Students must be prepared to actively engage in and contribute to the in-class discussion. Class time will also be used to discuss assignment expectations, deliver student presentations and other activities.
