Cultivating Strategic Collaboration between Non-Profit Service Organizations

The purpose of this project is to present a series of workshops aimed at assisting non-profit service organizations cultivate a strategic collaboration between agencies and organizations that have the same or similar missions, visions, goals, services, and clients. The project consists of six modules to guide interested organizations in identifying leadership styles; developing shared leadership and partnerships; developing shared visions, missions, and goals; discerning appropriate communication and conflict resolution strategies; identifying "like" organizations; and establishing a sound board of governance and strategic alliances.
The project includes three comprehensive manuals. The trainer's manual is comprised of six modular divisions, each including talking points for the various topics, power point presentations, suggested activities and resources. The participant's manual includes worksheets that correlate with the power point presentations, "hands-on" activities, reflections and assessments. There is also a "train-the-trainer" supplement that could be utilized to assist those participants who would like to become workshop trainers.
