Professor Addresses Peru's National Congress of Administration Students

November 25, 2008

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Addressing a crowd of 4,000 Peruvian business students, Dr. Sergio Matviuk, doctoral program director and assistant professor in Regent University's School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship, presented "Transformational Leadership for Change" at the CONEA Conference in Trujillo, Peru in October.

Matviuk was one of the four internationally renowned speakers invited by the National Congress of Administration Students, the largest university student organization in Peru.

"I am glad I had the chance to speak to this audience because these students constitute the emerging leaders of an important nation in the Asia-Pacific market and they need to hear about values-based leadership to build up a better and more prosperous nation," said Matviuk. He added, "this was a unique opportunity for the students because leadership topics are not usually taught in Peruvian universities."

While in Trujillo, Matviuk also presented "The Leadership of the University Professor" to more than 100 administration professors from the prestigious National University of Trujillo, the first Peruvian university of the republic's era.
