Regent's Newest Online Magazine Explores Global Business from a Biblical Worldview.

Regent Global Business Review launches inaugural issue.

June 25, 2007

RGBR
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.—The Regent Global Business Review (RGBR), Regent University's newest online publication, released its inaugural issue June 2007.
A bi-monthly publication, the RGBR addresses key areas that will further enhance the practice of business professionals around the globe, providing novel insight for today’s managers and leaders at all levels who are innovating and creating organizations to anticipate and respond to change in a global business environment.

Formerly known as the Regent Business Review, RGBR has been transformed to elevate and broaden the perspective of its readers through relevant, compelling articles written from a values-centric or biblical worldview.

The RGBR, sponsored by Regent University's School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship (GLE), is led by Julianne Cenac, executive editor, and is published in electronic format, providing access to all issues free of charge.

With a background leading global engagements in commercial and public sector consulting, Cenac believes that RGBR serves a niche for today’s leaders in the marketplace who seek compelling, values-based perspectives from recognized experts in the field. "With this standard, my intent is to see RGBR influence thought leadership and be among the most respected and referenced resources for business leaders worldwide," said Cenac.

Throughout her tenure as editor, Cenac wants to challenge her readers to consider "first, the enduring and penetrating truth and benefit of Scripture as exegetically applied to business; and secondly, the notion that commerce is not bound to a Western perspective alone."

This global perspective resides in the very core of RGBR. Cenac states that "to truly represent global business, we must challenge traditional views and consider different or perhaps, new ways of approaching commerce that balance performance goals with responsibilities to employees, consumers and suppliers."

"Using an editorial approach of exploration, innovation and transformation, we believe that our readers will be enriched as they impact their organizations with worthwhile, enduring results," said Cenac.
