Entrepreneurial Lessons of a Five Year Old
At just five years old, Dr. Bruce Winston began his first entrepreneurial venture selling newspapers on the streets of Fairbanks, Alaska. Years later, he realized it was that experience that taught him everything he needed to know about entrepreneurship. From "it's who you know" to "first to market" to "location, location, location" to "don't take on the big guys unless you're willing to get beat up," Dr. Winston candidly shares these and many other entrepreneurial lessons that have impacted his life.

Corné Bekker completed his doctorate degree at the Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg, South Africa where he specialized in the use of socio-rhetorical criticism in historical and social reconstruction of historical communities. He joined Regent University in 2005 after serving as the assistant dean of Rhema Bible College in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Bekker serves as an associate professor for the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship at Regent University and is editor of the Journal of Biblical Perspectives in Leadership and co-editor of Inner Resources for Leaders. He is actively involved in research on the use of hermeneutics and spirituality to explore leadership. Dr. Bekker is currently completing a second doctorate in Spirituality at the University of South Africa.
