Online Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership: Individualized Concentration

The field of organizational leadership spans industries and disciplines, therefore, students enrolled in the Individualized concentration have the flexibility to design a 15-credit-hour concentration drawing on doctoral-level courses offered in any of the Regent University graduate schools. A student's concentration must be approved by his/her academic advisor. If other Regent graduate school courses proposed in a concentration require prior approval for SBL Ph.D. student participation, this approval must be obtained and provided to the student's academic advisor.

Individualized Concentration-Specific Outcomes

As a Ph.D. student enrolled in the Individualized concentration, you will design, conduct and write:

  • Qualitative research in organizational leadership pertaining to your area of individualized study.
  • Quantitative research in organizational leadership pertaining to your area of individualized study.
  • Critical/historical/exegetical research in organizational leadership pertaining to your area of individualized study.

"The Ph.D. coursework and interaction with the excellent faculty and other doctoral students contributed to my developing greater skills in critical thinking, cogent writing, team formation and collaboration, and networking. Given my work and ministry commitments, the online format offered the ideal delivery system. This doctoral degree provided a strong foundation for teaching at the graduate level and spurred my hunger for life-long learning."
