Topics include current issues in commerce, the principles of strategic foresight, innovation, and creativity to examine what the future of commerce may be like. This course includes the preparation of future scenarios 10-20 years ahead that describe what types of products, services, distribution systems, and financial models might be in use given the probable combination of economic, technical, education, societal, demographic, and political driving forces. The focus is to build businesses that fit well into the future paradigms of commerce.
