Welcome to day five of the Moral Leadership Conference. You are in for a treat today as Dr. Nicki Nixon presents "Aaron Feuerstein: A Case Study in Moral Leadership through Moral Intelligence." Her presentation provides a unique look into difficult decisions that leaders make that may not match logic and yet are guided by moral principles.
Dr. Nixon is an associate professor of business and leadership at South University. She has a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and a Master's in Communication with 20 years of teaching experience. Dr. Nixon has served in a variety of leadership positions including dean of academic affairs, regional director of a nation-wide franchise, and several board positions in church and community organizations. As a former entrepreneur and business owner, she provided consulting services in leadership to local and international organizations. Dr. Nixon has been listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges and Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Research interests include the role of the organizational citizen in change, organizational communication, moral leadership, teaching, and mentoring.
