Welcome to the fourth day of our Annual Virtual Conference on Moral Leadership. This year, our focus is on the Ten Commandments and Organizational Leadership. Please join Angela Spranger for a video presentation on the impact of the 5th Commandment on Organizational Leadership.
Professor Angela Spranger is an encouraging, engaging facilitator who transfers her knowledge and experiences in ways that learners and participants can relate to and remember. Her workshops include "Motivators and Managing Expectations in the Workplace," "Effective Facilitation," "Followership: Banking Personal and Professional Value" and "The Mystery of Career Development," among others. As a Human Resource Development consultant she provides workshops on Generations in the Workplace, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(R) and StrengthsFinder(R) instruments, and group-specific ways to address training and organizational development needs.
Her instructional experience includes teaching adult non-traditional learners at Hampton University and Regent University in the business curricula, specializing in Marketing, Labor Management Relations, and Human Resources courseware. As of 2012, she added instructional experience with traditional young adult learners at Christopher Newport University. She has provided professional development and motivational workshops to local churches, military installations, and professional associations, and always seeks to offer a unique and inspirational way of approaching the theme topic.
Mrs. Spranger is a scholar-practitioner, having served for five years as a Division Training Coordinator at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington-Ingalls Industries, Inc., while undertaking doctoral study in organizational leadership at Regent University. She holds Master's degrees in Education, focusing on Human and Organizational Learning, and in Business Administration. She has also earned professional certification in the fields of human resources and marketing, and is certified to administer and interpret the MBTI(R) and StrengthsFinder(R) instruments. An accomplished speaker and presenter, she is a Competent Communicator in the Toastmasters, International organization, having won awards for evaluation and presentation skills.
Angela's motto is "any excuse to celebrate," and she finds joy in every day and every opportunity to encourage other people. Walking in her Romans 12 giftings of teaching, encouraging and prophecy, she especially appreciates the opportunity to liberate others from their own fears and limitations, and to encourage them to pursue their goals and dreams.
