Julianne Cenac serves as Director for the Center for Effective Organizations. She has led and advised many organizations through major change and strategic initiatives and brings a wealth of experience and perspective to the Center.  Working internationally in the United States, the Middle East Region, Australia, and the Caribbean, Ms. Cenac has consulted organizations and executive leaders within public sector, private sector and non-profit organizations to transform and restructure institutions; develop business strategies and strategic plans; and improve organizational and employee performance. 

Formerly a senior-level consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and Provant, Ms. Cenac has worked directly with three of the largest organizational transformations in the history of the U.S. federal government. She has led international project teams and trained consultants in strategy and assessment at Booz Allen Hamilton’s world-class Center for Performance Excellence.  Previous clients include the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Naturalization Service, U.S. Army, Department of Justice, Department of Veterans Affairs, National Institutes of Health, and the Governments of Qatar and the Bahamas among many others.  Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, her research interests include complexity in organizations, leader emergence, cultural forms of leadership and spiritual formation in leader emergence.
