Women in Leadership: Leading
at the Next Level
September 9, 2010
Seminar Overview
Have you reached a glass ceiling in your professional career? Are you competent at your work, yet experiencing little to no success at achieving more senior leadership roles? Are there tendencies among women in leadership roles that affect or limit their opportunities for promotion to senior executive levels?
For decades, women have talked about the glass ceiling or the club as definitive barriers affecting their ability to succeed or obtain promotion in senior leadership roles. Are these truly factors in a woman’s path toward executive leadership or do other factors play a role? What have successful women done to achieve promotion while maintaining their values and work-life balance? We will explore these and other topics in this seminar designed to provide women with insight to understanding their personal leadership style and the keys to succeeding in senior leadership positions.
Who Should Attend: This seminar is intended for women who want to learn effective practices for success in senior leadership roles. It is also intended for new and emerging leaders who need strategies for navigating the often complex and political organization dynamics experienced when leading at senior levels.
