The MSF provides students with a 21-credit core curriculum of in-depth leadership and futures topics, a 9-credit elective in strategic foresight, and a 3-credit culminating project in which the student conducts research or performs an organizational intervention that incorporates all the course content of the program.

All students pursuing the M.A. in Strategic Foresight must complete 33 credit hours . It is, however the demonstration of independent scholarly ability at the master's level, rather than the mere accumulation of credits that is required to successfully complete the program. The program is structured as follows.

• 21 credit hours of core courses
• 9 credit hours of electives
• 3 credit hours of culminating experience project

Full-time students can complete the M.A. in Strategic Foresight in as little as 18 months. Regent University considers 9 credit hours to be full time. Part-time students can complete the program in approximately 18-48 months. The maximum time that is allowed to complete the M.A. in Strategic Foresight is five (5) years. An academic year is comprised of three semesters: fall, spring and summer. Each semester is approximately 13 weeks in length. For more information please review the course map .

Certificate of Graduate Studies in Strategic Foresight (15 credit hours)

The CGS in Future Studies is a graduate-level certificate designed to enhance a person's foresight abilities and provide practical application of vision-based leadership within a variety of organizations. The certificate is comprised of the first four core courses of the MSF program, a library information research course, and a three-credit-hour culminating experience. Students who complete the certificate program and who desire to continue their studies may apply the credits to the MSF, if accepted to that program. An additional 18 credit hours of coursework is required to complete the MSF. The maximum time that is allowed to complete the CGS is five years.
