Master of Arts in Strategic Foresight

It takes more than traditional business practices to lead a successful organization; it takes the tools and ability to recognize and understand the trends that help predict future challenges and opportunities.

Leadership on the cutting edge of change

Grasp your opportunity to study the future in the context of organizational decision-making through the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship's Master of Arts in Strategic Foresight (MSF). Designed for consultants as well as managers of strategy, HR/training, Research & Development and marketing, our MSF degree will fine-tune your leadership abilities and help you discover how to position your leadership on the cutting edge of change.

The MSF exists to help fulfill Regent University's mission to develop globally competent, Christ-centered leaders, who make a difference in the world. The primary world we prepare our graduates for is the world of business, to empower them to help their organization navigate the turbulence waters of the 21st century and create the global enterprises of tomorrow.

MSF Program Outcomes
MSF graduates will:

  • Design an environmental scanning system, enabling an organization's strategic leaders to track patterns of systemic change across trends, events and issues.
  • Create a baseline forecast of trends for an organization which contains alternative futures, uncertainties and wild cards relating to the next decade.
  • Lead a departmental team to develop strategic plans, which includes mission, vision and goals appropriately matched to the near-term competitive, customer and industry environment.
  • Lead a scenario learning process for a leadership team that tests their strategy against a range of possible future developments.
  • Present their professional specialization, foresight practices and their Christian faith in appropriate media such as, but not limited to, a career portfolio, popular press articles, lectures and conferences.

The MSF offers the convenience and flexibility of online course delivery and the autonomous learning model that accommodate almost any schedule, allowing you to continue full-time employment throughout the program. In most cases, no on-campus residency is required.

The faculty and staff of the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship value each student and truly want to see them succeed. Therefore, throughout the program and when life challenges arise, we want to provide as much support as possible to encourage each student to continue on their educational journey and complete their degree. Therefore, GLE employs the following incentives to assist with student retention.
