LEAD 778 Innovation and Creativity in Organizations (6 credits)

This eighth course in the program builds on all the elements of the first seven courses and allows students to understand the role of innovation and creativity in organizations as factors for leaders to build vibrant learning transformational entities. The end goal of this course is for students to understand how to continually monitor the organization through appropriate and adequate organizational assessment measures and to create a learning organizational environment that allows the organization to continually adapt to changes in the environment as well to what the collective group of people in the organization learn about themselves. The outcome of this adaptation process is to create an organization that is continually improving and achieving continually higher levels of organizational performance first in effectiveness and then efficiency.
